Book is out!

Excited that my book – The State of Desire: Religion & Reproductive Politics in the Promised Land – is out today with New York University Press.

It tells the story of Orthodox Jewish family planning in Israel amid shrinking child benefits, feminism, new ideals of romance, intimacy & parenting, offering an intimate account of the delicate balance between personal desires & those of the state.
